I Choose Friday, 4/30/10

Base on votes, or the lack of them, I am shooting for Friday, 4/30/10 as our next game session. I may re consider based on player input. As far as I can tell I have only heard from Matt H and Bruce. I take that to mean that the date will work for Dan as well. It should work for Randy. That leaves Joe, Matt F and Brian as the unheard voices.

Assuming that I can get 5 players, this will be the date.

While we are at it ... start thinking about May

I know it is far out but how does Saturday, May 15th look for our May session?

It looks the most likely date for me. I will be out of town for both the weekend of 5/21-23 and the holiday weekend. The weekend before is Mother's Day and the Sunday game is the week before that.

Dates for April Session

We need to set a date for our April session.

Here is what we are up against.

This weekend is out due to the holiday and the fact that it starts today.

For next weekend, 4/9 could work for me. 4/10 is out because I have other plans and 4/11 is our rescheduled Sunday game.

The dates for 4/16, 4/17 and 4/18 do not work for Randy. He will be out of town. Originally I thought that 4/17 would work but my wife has asked me to keep it open. I could do 4/16 or 4/18.

4/23-4/25 will not work for me as I will be out of town.

4/30 might work and it might not. we have tenative family plans that weekend that are not fully baked.

Vote using the poll so we can get an idea for what might work. I need 5 players to schedule the game. If we cannot get together, we will need to postpone until May.

Tallies for the raid on Fort Rannick

You killed 21 ogres during the initial part of the raid to recapture Fort Rannick.

• A necklace of shriveled women’s hands, each adorned with shiny copper rings. Of the rings, 21 are worth 10 gp each, while the 22nd is magic (Ring of Animal Friendship).

Some of the non-magic items (like arrows) were taken by some of the characters and NPCs. I recall Azibar taking 20 arrows, Jakardros taking 40 and Shalelu taking 20. (The NPCs went through a boatload and will likely want to take more before moving on.)

If all goes well, you will level to 9th next session. Depending on how much we get done, it could happen during the session or at the end of the session.

Updated Web Site

I have updated the game web site at http://sites.google.com/site/zombiehomepage/Home/zombie-s-d-d-pathfinder-page/rise-of-the-runelords-saturday.

I have updated the "People" of Interest section and I have added a map of Fort Rannick as supplied by the rescued Black Arrows. The map can be found in the Attachments section.

Below is some additional information about the fort:

Fort Rannick is located at the northern end of a wide valley that runs along the southern edge of the mountains. This bleak landscape stretches on for miles along the border between the mountains and Kreegwood. This rugged, forlorn landscape fits well with the morose and grim attitude of its guardians, the Order of the Black Arrow.

The Black Arrows do not know where the ogres are located, or exactly how many ogres are still stationed within the fort. They can all but guarantee that there is a lot. They are positive that the ogres haven’t discovered the secret caverns or tunnels where the shocker lizards live.

I imagine that we will cover the entry plan and or attack plan in detail on Friday.
